Bless our Soldiers

I would like to take a moment to send my condolences to the families that lost loved ones in the tragic shooting at Fort Hood Army Base in Texas. My thoughts and prayers go out to them and the wounded.

Daily our soldiers take life threatening risks to protect us. It is devastating when we lose great men and women in battle but when we lose them on our own soil and then to top it off, on a U.S. Army base, it is beyond tragic.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. This is yet another unfortunate and tragic reminder to make each moment with our loved ones count.

  1. That was a tragedy for sure. It seems to me that there were warning signs that should have prevented this. A soldier should be safe in his own country.

  2. My Jeep is an old one I bought at the Army Surplus. I feel like it has memories to share with me. Sounds silly, I know. But when this shooting happened at Fort Hood I took my Jeep out and just headed across the fields. I thought about all the soldiers who had ridden in this Jeep before and wondered about their fates. It was a sad day indeed.
