Jennifer’s Jeep Submission for Fun and Freebies Posting

Jennifer from Washington sent in her Jeep picture for the Free ExtremeTerrain Sticker and the 10% off her next purchase of Jeep Parts and accessories from ExtremeTerrain. Along with her picture, Jennifer shared with us just a little about her Jeep.

“This is my 93 Wrangler YJ. It had a 4″ shackle lift, and there was also a spring over which gave it about 9.5″ of lift. The first time we took it out I realized (a little too late) that even though we had put shims in the rear the driveline should have been lengthened. I managed not to break the driveline and only mangle the clip that holds it in. Unfortunately, we had to put the shackles back to stock. (Due to the redneck engineering that was used.) We do plan on CORRECTLY lifting it again.”

Trial and error is all part of the fun sometimes… but hopefully the 10% off will help you towards getting your Jeep up to where you want it. Watch for future contest where you can win other discounts and free prizes from ExtremeTerrain and thanks so much you’re your submission and sharing with us Jennifer.

If you would like to receive 10% off your next purchase from XtremeTerrain, plus an ExtremeTerrain sticker and be featured on our blog just submit a picture of your Jeep! Feel free to give a shout out to your favorite off-roading club, trail or even a off-roading tale or two with your picture submission. We will be more than happy to publish that as well! It’s a great way to promote your off-roading club, find other like minded individuals, and share some great off-roading stories!

"You're telling me it's got four wheels, two seats and goes faster than the speed limit? Good, I'm driving."

  1. Good for you Jennifer. I’m always glad to see other gals join the ranks. And don’t forget, if you don’t get it right the first time, try, try again. Since we both live in the same area of the country maybe our paths will cross. I’ll be looking forward to meeting you.

  2. Looks like you’re ready, willing and able to get that baby off road. Sorry to hear about the redneck problem. Hope you get that cleared up and fixed up the way you want it.

  3. Hey Jennifer, nice looking Jeep. I’m always glad to see other gals on the this site. I knew I couldn’t be the only one to break in on this sport. I’m the only female member in our club that’s not part of a couple. I don’t know why the guys should have all the fun.

  4. You’ve got some great clearance on that Jeep. I hope you know how to take advantage of it. I just bought my Jeep last week and I haven’t done anything to it yet. I know I’ll have to before I take it too far off road. That’s my plan, to find some extreme terrain and put us both through the paces. Can’t wait!

  5. Good looking Jeep, Jennifer. I’m guessing from the looks of you off road is 2nd nature to you. My hat’s off to any woman who tackles this sport.

  6. That does it, I’m going to get me a Jeep. My mom has been telling me for the last 2 years that it’s a guy sport and that no one likes to see a girl get dirty. I’ve decided that’s just not true. I’ve seen and heard from plenty of females that like Jeeping just fine. I don’t mind getting down and dirty for a little fun.

  7. I remember when this broke. We were going up a really steap hill and then that was it. It was the first run we tried to take that camping trip. Love ya!
