“The climb was officially the highest by an internal combustion located in the South American mountain range of Chile. The two vehicles climbed 6,646 meters (21,804 feet) above sea level, allowing them to set the record of the highest altitude ever reached by a 4×4.”

Wave that Jeep Flag high and proud.. but seriously, like it would be any different? NOT! We all know Jeep’s are #1!!!

  1. OMG, I totally have to get my Jeep outrigged so it can do that! I’ve taken some pretty radical trails but I think that Jeep grew legs and climbed! My hat’s off to Jeep and driver!

  2. No way, is that for real? If it is real, that’s one extreme trail and one hell of a great driver! I’m jealous. We don’t have any thing close to that in my neck of the woods.

  3. I’ve tried some extreme trails but I can’t say that I would have looked at that and thought, I can climb that! I’d like to talk to this guy and find out just what other kinds of terrain he’s tackled and how he came to try this one!

  4. I’m with you Phoenix! I thought I was pretty daring but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the cojones to try that one! I’d like to be right there to see it done again.

  5. I was showing the picture to my girl and she asked me what the white thing hanging out of the back was. I told her it was a knotted sheet in case they had to escape. She told me that sounded like a good idea to her. She’s not blond and generally is not dense, so I couldn’t tell if she was serious or not. I just let the comment drop, I felt like it was safer that way.
