You can’t go off roading without a winch. Well I guess you could, but what about when you get in them tough spots that there is no way out except through the use of a winch. Okay, you use your buddies, but what if your buddy isn’t with you, or their winch breaks down. You are out on the trails, miles from civilization, and you are caught up in a rocky rut. What are your alternatives without a winch? Well you can always tie off to close trees if you have sturdy rope with you and try to rock yourself out in that fashion. 1. I’ve been considering a winch and this is the type I was thinking of. I have the money, that’s a shock, so I guess now would be a good time to get it and get it on. I’m heading to Arizona for a couple of weeks in the mountains and this might just come in handy during that time. And a sale price is always a good idea!

  2. This winch looks freaking huge! It’s probably just the angle of the shot. I really need to look into getting one as I spend a lot of time off road by myself. If I got into a jam I might be able to pull myself out without disturbing any of my friends. I do a lot of night time driving because I work the afternoon shift.

  3. The winch I have on my Jeep is getting pretty old. My Dad told me a couple of years ago that I should probably get it replaced. I agree and I’m glad it’s on sale.

  4. I could have saved myself a whole lot of money if I had one of these on my Jeep. I had to call a tow truck and because it was after hours it cost me more, and to add insult to injury, I had to pay mileage. Before I go out again, I will have a winch installed.

  5. This is the very winch I had installed on my Jeep the last time there was a sale plus free shipping. I can’t tell you how many times I have used it to help myself and others. I may not have saved any lives but I did save a Jeep that was resting on loose rock at the edge of a 30 foot cliff. The driver was able to get out but all of his efforts to pull the Jeep away from the edge just sent it a little farther down. I think I got there just in the knick of time. Another attempt with his method and he would have been hoofing it. He was grateful and I was glad I could help.
