2006 Photo Contest Top 3

Have you ever noticed that no matter how many tight situations Jeepers get into, they just don’t give up or stop? That is one thing that distinguishes them as a person – they are die hards’ with strong determination and will to conquer anything that blocks their path, both in life and on the trails. Enjoy the top three Jeep photo shots showing just that… the will and determination that makes Jeeper’s great!

2006 Photo Contest 3rd Place Winner – Eric E.
Eric E. sent in this photo taken on Smacker Trail at the Pittsfield, IL trail ride hosted by the Two Rivers Jeep Club. We’ll let Eric explain the action, “This is a picture of our trail guide (who flipped onto his side 10 seconds after this pic was taken) attempting a steep section of trail on Smacker at the Pittsfield, IL trail ride..”
2006 Photo Contest 2nd Place Winner - Stan J.

2006 Photo Contest 2nd Place Winner – Stan J.
Here we’re watching Stan J. in his 1998 ZJ 5.2 L with KevinsOffroad 7″ lift and 35″ tires getting a bird’s eye view of the canyon below on the Rusty Nail Trail during the annual pilgrimage Jeep Grand Cherokee owners from around the world make to Moab to test their modifications and wheeling prowess on such trails as Poison Spider, Golden Spike, and Pritchett Canyon. Fortunately both driver and rig made it back to camp unscathed. Looks like she could have rolled at any time.
2006 Photo Contest 1st Place Winner - Jeff B.

2006 Photo Contest 1st Place Winner – Jeff B.
Getting some air and we mean serious air! This is Jeff B. trying to climb a rock face in the quarry at Badlands in Attica, IN in his 1987 Jeep Wrangler, which has a locked Dana 44 front axle, a locked Dana 60 rear axle, a 4 link suspension front and rear using Skyjacker coil springs, and 38′ TSL SX Super Swampers. We’re wondering if he made it.

  1. Eric’s Jeep looks like it’s leaning against the tree taking a break! Those are all awsome pictures and it’s easy to see why they placed. Wish I could have seen any of them as they happened. Jeepers are no quitters, that’s for sure.
