Thanksgiving Traditions

SEMA 2010

Every family has particular Thanksgiving traditions, whether it is a certain dish that is a must have every Thanksgiving or a certain activity. For many Jeepers, that includes something with either friends and family on the trails or a club activity.

Outside of hitting the trails or gathering with your off roading club, here are some other common Thanksgiving Day traditions. Feel free to add yours or share what you and your family are doing this Thanksgiving.

Eating Turkey
According to the National Turkey Federation, 95 percent of Americans eat turkey at Thanksgiving.
Watching Football
Thanksgiving Day Parade
Turkey Wishbone
Who hasn’t tried to grab the wishbone to be the lucky one to make a wish?
And most importantly – Give Thanks!!!!

The picture is from the SEMA 2010 Trucks & Jeeps album on our Facebook Fanpage. Check them out! Some awesome shots!

  1. You are so right, the SEMA album has some terrific pictures. I never get tired of looking at the pictures associated with your site. They are not only entertaining, they give me ideas on areas of the country I want to go to for the terrain and also I get to see the latest in Jeep enhancements and I can add them to my wish list. Thanks for the great job you do. Keep it up!!
