Upcoming Off Roading Events

Now that spring has sprung there are off roading events everywhere.. I am sure, like myself, we wish we could go to them all, but some are just too far or override a other event. So check your calendars and see if you can fit any of these events in. You may just find one in the list you have never heard of before that becomes an annual event for you!

"You're telling me it's got four wheels, two seats and goes faster than the speed limit? Good, I'm driving."

  1. If the ECORS Barbie Jeep race is with real Barbie Jeep’s, I’m sure there will be plenty of entertainment! Since there is a weight limit I have to wonder how fast they will go with adults driving them. Wish I could be there, but alas, I will be working.

  2. So many events, so little time. I’ve learned to stretch my vacation time to cover several events over the summer. Even so, there are a lot more that I would like to get to but just don’t have the time to cover the trip. I try to make all of the events that I can get to and back in 3 days or less. I wonder if there is anyway to make a career out of traveling from state to state attending Jeeping events? I wish!

  3. I missed Infectious Off Road’s 1st Annual Armed Forces Day Run because of work. A couple of my buddys went and they had a great time. We’re all going back this year and I can’t wait. We’re driving down with a group of 10 Jeeps. That in itself will be a blast. A couple of the guys have put a lot of money in their rides and they get the looks.

  4. The Mad Medal Mud Drags sounds like a full day of more fun than I’ve experienced in a long time. I’d have to leave Friday afternoon to make sure I’m there by 10 am but that’s totally doable. Heck, I might even invite the boss along. We’ve been talking a lot about Jeeps and off road excitement and I think he’s almost convinced that he needs a Jeep too. This might just be the deciding factor for him.

  5. I can’t make the TRUCKS GONE WILD event at Mettowee Off Road Extreme Park because of my sister’s wedding, but I can tell anyone who is considering attending that it’s a great facility and you’re sure to have a good time. I’ve been there several times. I don’t even mind that it’s open to multiple off road vehicles. I was leery the first time there but it wasn’t the problem I thought it might be.

  6. Go Topless Day caught my eye! What can I say? I’m a guy. The vendor line up was really impressive. I won’t be missing that outing for sure.
