Protect your Jeep Soft Top with the Right Stuff

We all know that Jeep Wrangler owners spend a lot of their time off-roading out in the woods with the top and doors off the way a Jeep is suppose to be driven. There is little better then listening the branches break underneath your bumper as you crash through the brush or the splash of mud on your face as you go headfirst into a blind water hole. But of course there are times when you need to have the top to take your date to a nice meal or protect yourself from the weather. So when you do have the top up you want it to look the best it can that is why you need Soft Top Cleaner and Protectant Kit by Bestop.

This stuff is awesome and can be found at Xtremeterrain.com for only about thirty five bucks. The kit comes with everything you need to clean the windows and the soft top. It also adds a nice layer of protection from the UV rays that can suck the life right out of your top. It is easy to buff on and then simple to wipe off.

All Jeep off-roaders love to come back from a long day of mudding with a crusted vehicle that looks like it just went through a mud storm. The thing though is if you did go through the mud storm with the top up you will want to make sure it is protected from your crazy adventure out in the woods. This stuff is so good that most stuck on gunk will come right off with a swift shot of high pressure water. We all know that the mud crust is a badge of honor, but it also can hurt your paint job and Bestop top and windows.

Jeep owners love to treat their Wranglers like a pet or a child and they would never dream of using cheap soap that could hurt their kid or pet nor would they want to do anything that would hurt their Jeeps. That is why many Wrangler owners only use Soft Top Cleaner and Protectant Kit by Bestop.

  1. This is good to know! I just bought a Jeep and it has the soft top. The previous owner never drove it off road and it spent a good deal of the last 2 years parked in a garage so it’s in ‘like new’ condition. I’m still trying to figure out why he bought it in the first place, but I’m surely not complaining. His loss is my gain and I do intend to take this little lady into the wilds. I’ll be ordering this product in the next few minutes. Thanks!

  2. I tried some cheap stuff that I thought would work as well. Surprise, it didn’t! It left streaks and cloudy spots everywhere. Don’t be fooled by other cleaners that claim they work as well, cause they don’t. After that initial fiasco I always make sure I have Bestop cleaner to keep my Jeep looking it’s best.

  3. It makes good sense to keep your leather conditioned. The sun, water and mud are brutal if left unattended. Like any other investment, you need to take care of it if you want it to last. I’ve invested considerable funds in my girl and I don’t intend to let her age if I can help it.

  4. You can bet I do. I like to put my Jeep through the extreme paces but I want it to look sharp too. Keeping it clean and conditioned will also make it last longer. There are plenty of opportunities to spend my money on my Jeep, I don’t have to make any more if I can help it.

  5. After a weekend off road I like to clean up my Jeep for the week. A good washing inside and out, conditioning the seats and soft top and a good wax job once a month are a must. The condition of my Jeep reflects on me and I take pride in a job well done and a Jeep well taken care of. The girls seem to like it too.

  6. I love playing in the mud. My Mom tells everyone that I just never left the sandbox, I just traded it for a bigger one. I used to dig through the sand to get to the mud, and make tracks for my toy Jeeps. When I was done playing in the mud, the Jeeps went to the tub with me. I knew they needed to be cleaned up. Same now. After driving in the mud and water, The Jeep needs to be cleaned up. Can’t take it into the tub with me anymore, but I still get it clean. The soft top deserves the extra care I give it with this cleaner and protector. It was a major investment and I want it to last for a long time to come.
