A Jeep Bumper for people who like to help.

There are two types of off-road Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited owners. There is the kind that goes out into the wilderness throwing caution to the wind, leaping before they look and then getting stuck in a place where only Mother Nature and a friend with a winch can help. Then there are the guys who own the Wranglers with things like HighRock 4×4 Front Bumper for 1997-06 Wrangler and Unlimited who can easily attach a winch and to pull those thrill seeking crazy people out of that mud hole.

This is the type of bumper that will allow you to add it to your Jeep without having to drill anything and even has a couple of holes so you can add d-rings so excavation equipment can be added as well. These are the kinds of bumpers that anyone who lives in a world where they need to pull things a lot must have. They not only pull your friends, but they can be used to pull tree stumps and other heavy objects.

These bumpers also make the Jeep Wrangler and the Wrangler Unlimited ultra cool looking. They add this tough looking front end that will make all your friends jealous and scare the pants out of anyone who cuts you off on the highway. From a low angle they look like something out of Battlefield Earth or Mad Max for the people who are a little older.

Driving around town with a HighRock 4×4 Front Bumper for 1997-06 Wrangler and Unlimited attached will get a lot of looks and maybe even a few offers for help. The ones sold at Xtremeterrain.com sell for about five hundred bucks. They also offer an optional unique tubular grill guard and an optional roller.

If you are one of those people who likes to help people out in tough situations than this is the perfect bumper for you because it will accommodate pretty much any winch. The other cool thing is that the winch can be easily removed when not needed and just as easily put back in place when it is needed.

"You're telling me it's got four wheels, two seats and goes faster than the speed limit? Good, I'm driving."

  1. I seriously need one of those! I have a home-made winch that usually falls short of what I need. I could kick some major butt with this one. Of the 6 of us who go off road together I’m the only one who comes close to having a life line, and this would just about take care of all of our needs. You guys are the best! I just love this site!

  2. That gizmo would look terrific on the front of my Jeep. It needs a new bumper anyway. I took a nose dive into a rock pit (I know I should have spotted the trail before I took off and didn’t!) and mashed mine up pretty good. Or is that bad? Regardless, since it needs to be changed anyway, I may as well upgrade it while I’m at it. I can already picture how it will look and I can hardly wait to get it back on the trail.

  3. I do like to help, but even if I didn’t this is good enough looking that I would want it anyway. I like to show off my Jeep and any improvements I make are going to be for performance as well as looks.

  4. When I see someone in trouble, I stop and help. It’s the way I was raised and the way I’m raising my sons. We’re an off road family and believe me there are plenty of opportunities to lend a hand when you drive off road. Since we had the HighRock 4×4 Front Bumper installed on our 2000 Wrangler helping others became a lot easier and because of that, a lot more fun. My wife tells me i just like to show off, and maybe I do, but there’s no harm in that. The other drivers are greatful and I haven’t missed to look of longing that I see when they look at the setup I have.

  5. OK Jay, I get the hint. I don’t know how he does it, but everytime I sit down to use the computer, this screen is waiting for me. He’s been telling me for months that he needs a winch and he’s been wanting to upgrade the bumper too. If it means I can sit down and not have this screen waiting for me, get it already!

  6. Aw Sue, you’re the best! Since you went public for me, I thought I should do the same in return for you. The HighRock 4×4 Front Bumper for my 2006 Wrangler has been ordered and I’m waiting on its arrival. In return, I’ve booked the cruise for you so you can join your sorority sisters next month. The unexpected overtime should cover both.

  7. That’s a great price for the bumper. I saw one recently that was just over $600 and I thought that was a bargain. I’m glad now that I didn’t order it when I first considered it.
