Off-road Protection for Your Jeep

There are two types of Wrangler owners. The first type of owner is the occasional off-roader who really buys the vehicle because they want to pretend they live in a world where they go mudding to release some steam, but really the only mud they come across is when the go camping at one of those pre-set, paved campsites with hanging numbers, no smoking or booze allowed. Then there is the type of Wrangler owner who needs an ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper in Black for 07-09 Jeep Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK.

This ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper will help to protect them from the enemies that lurk beneath the mud and bumps. The Wrangler owners who need this type of bumper are the ones who can’t pass up a muddy road that leads to nowhere even if their lives depended on it. These are the types of guys who are always getting called by their wives wondering why it is taking so long to pick-up dinner.

The ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper in Black for 07-09 Jeep Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK is made to offer maximum protection to model year 2007-2900 Wrangles and Wrangler Unlimited. They have been clever enough to improve the approach angle and make the fit tighter to the frame than the older models. They have also flared out the wings to help accommodate over-sized wheels for the true off-road ranger.

When a Jeep has one of these bumpers attached it pretty much means the sky is the limit when it comes to getting off-road. This thing will allow the driver to clear through brush without fear of damaging the vehicle. The sturdy construction will allow you to have the peace of mind to run through thicker areas of bushes, small trees and other pesky things that go bump on the off road.

Another nice thing is that they have also made it to it can accommodate auxiliary lights and winch models made by warn. It can be had at Xtremeterrain.com for under $800 which is way less than a lot of other places.

  1. Sad to say I used to belong to the first stereotype group that you described. I was definitely a wannabe. But then, I caught the ‘bug’ and now there is no terrain that’s too tough for me. The bigger the bump the greater the bang! The ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper was the buy of my dreams and has allowed me to tackle trails that I had only longed for up to that point. Can’t say enough good things about it so I won’t even try.

  2. You’re singing my song! My fiance insisted on getting married in the town where she grew up. Nice little country church, long time pastor, yadda, yadda, yadda. The weekend of the wedding it rained. Being a Jeep owner of sound mind and body, and unable to resist playing in the mud….. Well, I was an hour late for the wedding. I didn’t think it was going to be a big deal. The tux was still clean and it only took me a few minutes to clean up them fancy shoes. Guess I’m lucky that my bride was understanding, then and now! I’ve been talking up the ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper and reminding her that my birthday is coming up and all. I think she just might make me a happy camper and try and surprise me with it. I do love that little gal.

  4. The ARB Rockbar Bull Bar Bumper is just about what I’ve pictured since I bought my 2008 Wrangler Unlimited JK. I’ve made some modifications already and Now it’s time for that front bumper. I’ve waited a long time to get it just the way I want it, planning even before the purchase. You guys are the best. Keep up the great work.

  5. I’m still sporting the factory bumper and really didn’t think much of it until I saw this one. I can already picture the difference it will make on my wheels. I recently started going to some of the events held for Jeeps and I realized that mine still looks pretty much like it did the day I bought it, pretty much naked. Sad but true.

  6. Now that’s what I call a bumper! I’ve been thinking about changing mine and this is worth a second look. I’m also considering one with a big old winch. I’ve never needed one, but there’s always that first time. It’s great that you show us what is out there. I really like this site and I visit frequently.

  7. I am the real deal, hard core, every weekend off road enthusiast. I just put a heavy duty bumper and winch on last year. If I were in the market for another one, this would be a front runner.

  8. Your Jeep is your fortress when you leave the highway. It’s dangerous out there and you need all the reinforcements you can afford. If you are a pansy and call it off roading when you drive on the shoulder, go home! You’re giving the rest of us a bad name. Get serious or get lost.
