Jeep owners and lovers will once again unite on July 21 and 22, 2012 in York, PA for this one of a kind annual event celebrating all things Jeep. The event is sponsored by the PA Jeeps club which touts itself as “a non-profit, educational organization which strives to use public lands, not only for safe off-highway driving, but also for hiking, horseback riding, camping, etc. “
The All Breeds Jeep show is a combination event that will feature a wide array of activities. Some of the events allow Jeep owners to enter their Jeeps in various competitions and events. Some of the competitions include: the RTI ramp competition, the slow crawl competition, the best trail ready Jeep competition, the ultimate beater competition, and the longest distance traveled competition for the Jeep that drove to the event the furthest.
Non-Jeep owners or Jeep owners who don’t want to enter their Jeeps can also get in on the fun by attending non-participation events including: new Jeep displays, a swap meet, various family activities, vehicle recovery demos, advice from manufacturers, a Jeep parade, and a lot more.
Registration is now open to all participants. People who register before July 18th will pay $35 for Saturday only and only $40 for both days. People who sign-up at the event will pay $45.00 for Saturday or $50.00 for both days. PA Jeeps members pay only $25.00. The first 400 registrations will receive an event dash plaque, a goodie bag, and event program, a bonus raffle ticket and “Poker Run 500” playing card.
Participants in the event will be able to register in one of the 13 classes and 3 categories. The classes are: military, Willys, CJ5s, CJ7s, CJ6/CJ8/Commandos, Wagoneer/J-Trucks/FC, Cherokee/Comanche, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler YJ (87-95), Wrangler TJ/LJ (97-06), Wrangler JK (07-Present), Liberty/Compass/Patriot/Commander, and Non-Street Legal. The three categories include: Stock, Modified and Unlimited.
Vendors interested in being part of the vendor area need to register by July 14th. Space rental ranges from $150 for a 10×40 booth all the way up to $300 for a 40×40 booth. Vendors wishing to bring larger trucks need to contact the show chairman for more information. Swap meet participants can get a 10×40 booth for $60 each.
The 17th Annual All Breeds Jeep Show opens their gates at 7am both days with the first event starting at 8am and the final event ending around 5pm. On-site camping is available starting at $20 for a basic tent only campsite.
