Thanksgiving is a time for football, way too much turkey and, of course, parades. This year, the Harlem Globetrotters got in on the action by walking in the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade escorted by, you guessed it, a Jeep Wrangler!
Sporting their iconic blue jumpsuits, the Harlem Globetrotters made their way down State Street in downtown Chicago, escorted by a matching blue Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep was a centerpiece for the Globetrotters, driven by Chicagonow blogger Jill Ciminillo and sponsored by Chrysler Group. All in all, Chrysler Group enlisted 29 vehicles to pull floats this year and the iconic Wrangler was the Globetrotter’s honorary escort.
