2019 Jeep JT Wrangler Pickup Truck

Previewed: The ’18 JL Wrangler & ’19 JT Wrangler Truck

Thanks to our friends over at JLWranglerForums, we’ve gotten a good look at what the 2018 JL Wrangler and 2019 JT Wrangler Pickup Truck will look like. Combining all of the design leaks, confirmed changes, and spy photos that have come out over the past year, JLWranglerForums developed these stunning renders that take all of the specs into count and give us a look at the future JL Wrangler and JT Wrangler Pickup.

The renderings of the JT Wrangler Truck showcase some of the major design details we have seen and learned about, such as the modular roof design, LED Headlights, and raked windshield. The rendering of the 2019 JT Pickup also features a prominent hood bulge and the iconic Wrangler Grille design that has become synonymous with the brand. The Wrangler Pickup also features the LED Fender lights that have been spotted on multiple test vehicles.

Overall the body lines follow the general design hallmarks of the Jeep brand, such as their rigid and angular shape, giving the Wrangler Pickup a well-defined and classic look that is perfect for the modern day. Taking multiple styling cues from the Jeep Wrangler, the JT Wrangler Pickup is not a huge divergence from the Wrangler, giving it both an off-roading and utilitarian appeal with its ~5 Ft. bed.

The 2018 JL Wrangler renderings from JLWranglerForums take a similar approach to the next gen look of the Wrangler as ours renders. These renders really showcase the modular 3-piece hardtop roof design that we have been talking about for some time.

From the LED headlights and fender lights to the flip-up rear window, these JL Wrangler renderings help to truly envision the future of the Jeep Wrangler.

Two of the coolest images to be released in these rendering are off the JL Wrangler’s 3-piece hardtop roof in action, giving you an animated look at how it will work. These animations of the JL Wrangler’s Hardtop show both a two-tone Wrangler roof as well as a color-matched one.

  1. I Love this Jeep Truck. I’ll be very happy to take one of those off your hands and in return I will give you my green Jeep Cherokee Classic. Its a 1998 with over 250,000. miles on it.

  2. The Wrangler has been turned into an SUV with a sunroof? And a sunroof that you have to find a place to store the panels? If its not a full convertible 4WD, its not a Wrangler. Let the name die with dignity and call these something else

  3. The value of the JK/JKU series just increased. 🙂

Chrysler will discover that hardtop sales will decrease because of the compromises that they have made here – and ultimately overall sales will decrease because not all buyers want a soft top.

It these renders are accurate, the truck version without a true removeable top is only an impractical, compromised novelty.

These aren’t the jeeps you’re looking for.

  4. I am not loving the new look. We shall see when we get to see it for the first time. I am not sold on the new front end look. I did not like the 8.4 Uconnect system. I had to pay $14 per month to keep my bluetooth features active if I wanted to send a text message or access other voice features. I love the truck idea.
