6th Snowshoe Mountain Jeep Jamboree ~ Snowshoe, West Virginia

6th Snowshoe Mountain Jeep Jamboree 2010

6th Snowshoe Mountain Jeep Jamboree
Where: Snowshoe, West Virginia
When: Jul 08-Jul 10

Details about the 6th Snowshoe Mountain Jeep Jamboree from the Jeep Jamboree official website:

“Perched nearly a mile high in the Alleghenies, Snowshoe Mountain Resort is home to 11,000 acres of pristine woodlands. Breathtaking vistas are found throughout the challenging off-road trails. A stop for lunch at a fire-tower lookout is your opportunity to take home your own postcard picture. Steep downhill trails and boulders along with some mud make for a great time. The food is great as are the friends and memories you’ll make. Bring along your mountain bike – West Virginia was recently voted “the number one state for mountain biking in North America” as ranked in the latest IMBA annual survey!
Tow hooks mandatory.”

"You're telling me it's got four wheels, two seats and goes faster than the speed limit? Good, I'm driving."

  1. I’ve heard marvelous things about the scenery and terrain that can be found in the Alleghenies but I’ve never had a chance to see them. I’ve made arrangements for some time off of work and my buddy and I are going to the Snowshoe Mountain Jeep Jamboree. I’m taking plenty of film so we can get all the pictures we want.

  2. Snowshoe Mountain Resort is a beautiful place to spend your leisure time. We took bikes with us when we went last year. Between Jeeping and biking, we were busy all the time. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve ever been on, which is why we’ll be returning this year.

  3. We’ve been camping and hiking at Snowshoe Mountain Resort for several years. It’s a great area with something for everyone. My son is totally into his Jeep and being off road. It gives him something to do and is a great sport for building confidence and meeting new friends. He just asked me to go with him and danged if I’m not considering it. He might just be able to teach this old dog a few new tricks.

  4. I tagged along with my cousin last year to this event. I had such a great time, I’m driving back myself for this one. He has to work, sad to say, but I got the time off. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures and let him know just what he missed, nice guy that I am!

  5. My buddy and I will be driving from Kentucky so we’ll be taking a couple of days on either side of the event off for travel. We’ve attended this event twice before and had a great time. I hope this year will be more of the same.
