Coal Creek OHV

Coal Creek OHV

If you live in Tennessee or plan on visiting and are wanting to include some off roading fun in your plans, check out the Coal Creek OHV. The Coal Creek OHV, located in Oliver Springs, sits on 72,000 acres of various terrains for all skill levels. It is the largest OHV area in the southeast. The Coal Creek OHV is open year round to all types of off roading vehicles such as Jeeps, 4×4’s, ATV’s, UTV’s, dirt bikes, rail buggies, and mountain bikes. Nice thing about taking a mini vacation to Tennessee’s Coal Creek OHV is that you do not have to have an annual permit; they offer daily, multi day and annual permits.

If you already live in this area, you already know that the scenery is breath taking with beautiful mountains every which way you turn. And you know what mountains mean… great terrain fro off roading!!! If you want more information please visit the Coal Creek OHV website or Coal Creek OHV Facebook page.

  1. We just moved to Briceville, Tennessee about 3 weeks ago from Gilbert, Arizona. We were afraid our off road days were numbered, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find out that there are a number of state parks and now this off road park that are not all that far from where we live. You can bet your bottom dollar that we’ll be there the first chance we get. I’m equally glad that it is open year round. Driving the same trails during different seasons of the year makes it seem like there are more trails. 72,000 acres of heaven!

  2. I’ve never tried any of the off road parks but I’ll be in the area for a wedding in a couple of weeks and I’m real tempted to check it out. Since I’m in the wedding I’ll have to wait until it’s over. Thanks for posting the facilities and their locations.
