Dam Jeepers – Disney, Oklahoma

In keeping with trying to bring to the forefront all of the available off roading groups around the state, I bring to you today Dam Jeepers located in Disney, Oklahoma. The Dam Jeepers was suggested to us by Chad McDonald. If you know of a group that we haven’t featured yet, please let us know and we will add it to our list. Please provide the URL with your suggestion. If the site does not have a current website, give us some background information on it and address and we will get it posted.

Here is some information about Dam Jeepers from their official website http://damjeepers.com/.

Dam Jeepers was founded in 2000 by Steve Smith. The group began by rock crawling in Disney, Oklahoma at the Pensacola Dam. The group often travels and has gone to places like Hot Springs, Arizona, Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Cass, Arizona.

The website offers a good amount of information about the group. You can find out about the founder, find profiles of members’ vehicles, see photos, and check out a video gallery. The photo album has photographs of the wear and tear the vehicles go through, events the Dam Jeepers have participated in such as a Christmas parade in 2007, modifications, and trips. In the video gallery, you’ll find videos of such events as the Vinita car show and even a Dam Jeeper music video.

"You're telling me it's got four wheels, two seats and goes faster than the speed limit? Good, I'm driving."

  1. I’d join this club just for the name! I’ve heard the expletive before and I just think the person who said it is jealous. Those who have anything derogatory to say about Jeepers, haven’t given it a try. I’ve been behind the wheel of a Jeep since I was 13. I used to run supplies from the barn to the work crews around the ranch I grew up on. I’ve moved on with my life but the Jeep is still part of it. My ‘good car’ is a Jeep also. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

  2. I ran across some of the Dam Jeepers in Hot Springs. It’s been a while but with a name like that it’s hard to forget. They were a great group of people and a good time was had by all.

  3. Somebody has a great sense of humor and a quick mind to have come up with that club name. Definitely an attention getter. It sounds like they have a Jeep load of fun too. I live in the boonies of Arizona and there aren’t many people around, let alone clubs to join. I am going to investigate some more and see if some of their events can be fit into my vacation. I’m sure it would be well worth the trip.
