Most people think they have a big Jeep when they get to 35″ tires.  COP 4×4 went truly massive when they built The Kraken on 54″ tires.

COP 4×4 built the first JKU on 54″ tires and they did it right.  The guys at COP 4×4 are known for their custom rigs and The Kraken takes the cake for most extreme JK to come out of their shop.  They prefer to start with unmolested JKs with just over 130k miles and The Kraken is a great example of what they can do.

The base for this built was a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited, although as you can see there isn’t much left of it.  For a power train The Kraken got a 5.7 liter Hemi with a 545rfe transmission.  To hold up to the massive 54″ Mickey Thompson Baja Claws wrapped around 20″ Fuel Wheels, this monster got a pair of 2004 Ford  F350 full floating axles.  The axles are positioned under the JKU by a customer Teraflex long arm suspension with King coil overs.  The exterior modifications include Smittybilt front and rear bumpers and tons of custom work including the sliders, differential covers and hood.

Builds like these show that there are literally no limits to what you can build with an already capable Jeep Wrangler as your starting point.  Build your rig into exactly what you want it to be with parts from ExtremeTerrain.com.
