2019 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck- one of the most anticipated vehicles to be released- has been spied testing off-road for the first time! Although it is wearing a lot of camouflage, there is no obscuring the fact that what we are looking at it is an early version of the soon-to-be-released Wrangler Pickup Truck.
Wrangler Exterior Styling… For a Pickup
One of the most striking features of the this prototype Wrangler Pickup is that is carries a decent bit of design cues over from the standard Wrangler. In the spy photos originally posted and reported on by our friends over at JLWranglerForums.com, you can make out the iconic seven slot grille as well as the flat style roof.
Also similar to its Wrangler brethren, the ’19 Wrangler Pickup is sporting a set of off-road wheels & tires, which makes sense considering it was captured hauling down a dirt road. The pickup has a long wheelbase, that is spread out to support the spacious bed, which looks to be about five to six foot long.
After seeing the exterior of the new Wrangler Pickup, one has to wonder what kind of a suspension setup Jeep has piloting this truck as well as what engine is under the hood; with all the hype surrounding the Hurricane turbo 4 cylinder engine, I wouldn’t be surprised if that has already made its way into the Jeep Pickup.
2019 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Release
As of right now, Jeep CEO Michael Manley says that the truck is on track to be released by “early 2018,” following the release of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Although it will be released in 2018, the truck will be labeled as a 2019 model year. It is an exciting time to be a Jeep enthusiast.
